Professionally, Brother Nelson has worked nearly two decades in the Financial Services Industry, holding positions ranging from Bank Branch Manager to Operations Leader. Currently, Brother Nelson is the Marketing Manager of Field Engagement for Financial Institution Division of Ameriprise Financial Services. Brother Nelson has won such awards with Ameriprise Financials Services as the Chairman’s Award (2017), Impact Award (2019) and been nominated for the Outstanding Leaders Award (2022)
Brother Nelson is also active in his community. He is a past Board of Director President of Family Promise of Jacksonville. Currently he is a board member that works to carry out the mission of Family Promise of Jacksonville and take families from homelessness to housing. Brother Nelson is married to former Erikka Flanagan (St. Louis, MO) and they have two daughters, Jada (Bethune Cookman) and Skye (8th grade).
Brother Buchanan began his career as a Southern Regional Manager with Radio Shack and is currently employed by the City of Jacksonville as a Project Inspector. Brother Buchanan is a child of God and serves as a Deacon and District Leader in his church. Brother Buchanan also servers as a leader in the Champion Lodge #2 of the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Florida, Belize, Central America and its Jurisdiction, Incorporated Prince Hall Affiliated.
Brother Johnson is a Fall 1986 initiate of the University of North Florida Chapter, the Alpha Xi Colony of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.. He earned an Army Active Duty Regular Officer Commission and BS in Marketing. He completed various training programs which included Army Ranger Training and Jump Master Course. He fought on the front lines of Desert Storm and earned a Bronze Star with Valor for Liberating Kuwait and became a Company Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division, A Co. 1/325 Airborne Infantry Regiment- Alpha Red Falcon One.
In 1995, he changed careers and went into the pharmaceuticals and biotech sector. Brother Johnson participated in the start up of: TAP Pharma and Tolmar Pharma. In addition to working for AstraZeneca during his pharmaceutical career. Brother Johnson went on to graduate from Northwestern - Kellogg, “Executive Scholar” program. Three and a half years ago and was a key leader to start Telix Pharma- Nuclear Medicine, a cutting edge leader in treating advanced prostate cancer with radio isotopes.
Most importantly, I am overjoyed to be a leader in the St. Augustine (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.
Brother Robinson has worked civil service for 16 years as an Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor/Case Manager and Human Resources Specialist. He presently works for the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, based in Falls Church, Virginia.
Brother Robinson is a believer in Jesus Christ and actively serves the community by giving his time, talent, treasure wherever his faith my call. Brother Robinson spends his winter and spring seasons coaching youth and AAU basketball in the northeast Florida area. He is the devoted father of five children: Alexis, Madison, Isaiah, Samuel and Joshua.
Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and a graduate of Enloe High School where he earned All-Conference Basketball Honors. Brother Wilson matriculated from UNC Greensboro in 1982 with a degree in Broadcasting/Cinema. Today, Brother Wilson is a Life Insurance Sales Agent.
Brother Wilson married his silhouette, Naomi in 1988 and is a father to Kristina and Kristian.
Brother Williams is an IT professional and is currently a Senior Manager with Florida Blue and responsible for project execution within the Sales Enablement organization. Brother Williams is the former Technology Committee Chairman for the Southern Province and has remained an integral part of the committee for the last decade. Today, Brother Williams is the acting Assistant Keeper of Exchequer, MTA Chairman and Technology/Social Committee Chairman for the St Augustine (FL) Alumni Chapter.
Brother Williams is child of God and husband to Kelly, father to Casey II (the Purdue University Chapter, the Nu of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc) and Kennedy. In his spare time, Brother Williams is a published wedding and portrait photographer, but ultimately enjoys traveling with family and friends.
As a Charter Member of the St. Augustine Alumni Association, he serves as the Keeper of Exchequer. In his professional life, Brother Hicks is an Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase overseeing Title and Support services for Chase Home Lending. Over the course of his 24 year tenure in the mortgage industry, he has worked for other leading lenders such as Goldman Sachs, PHH Mortgage, and Pulte Home Lending.
Since his initiation Brother Mumford held several positions which include Lieutenant Strategus, Strategus, Guide Right Chairman and Chapter Advisory Board of the Delta Psi Chapter at Edward Waters University.
Professionally Brother Mumford worked twenty years in Healthcare leadership at UF Health Jacksonville within Financial Services, Radiology, and Compliance. Currently he works Global Compliance and Operational Risk in the financial industry.
Brother Barton originally hails from the Great Lakes part of the midwest and has served in various capacities since joining the fraternity. Brother Barton's posts have included past Polemarch and Keeper of Records. Brother Barton is currently the Keeper of Exchequer for the St. Augustine Alumni Association.
Brother Barton's interests include history, science fiction, guitar and biking.

Professionally, Brother Briscoe has more than 30 years' experience in public and media relations, marketing and journalism. He's written and/or edited four books on corporate diversity, been a regular contributor to various newspapers and publications, including Time, Newsweek and Black Enterprise, and consulted with numerous government agencies and small- and mid-sized business on PR, DEI and marketing projects.
Currently, he is a communications strategist with JEA.
In the community, Brother Briscoe is a Class of 2023 Leadership St. Johns graduate, a board member for the St. Johns Cultural Council, and a member of the Jacksonville Jazz Society. Brother Briscoe lives in St. Johns, Fla., with his wife, Corde' and their dog, Max.
Brother Maxey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Kent State University and began his professional career in education as a teacher. He taught Introduction to Citizenship, Economics, American History and American Government.
George E. Maxey began his administrative career as Dean of Students at
Simons Perkins Middle School in Akron, Ohio. George E. Maxey became
principal of Jean Ribault Middle School and William M. Raines High School
from 2004-2011. Mr. Maxey worked as consultant for Pearson, Inc. from
2012-2014. Then he became the Executive Director of New Town Success
Zone at EWC from 2015-2019, 2nd Mile Ministries of Brentwood from 2019-
2022 and Executive Director of Elevate Jacksonville from 2022-23.
Currently, Mr. Maxey is the Executive Principal of Little Rock Southwest
High School.
In his 25 plus years as an experienced educator and nonprofit partner with 15 years as a secondary & middle school administrator; he has skills in implementing program initiatives, optimizing the learning atmosphere, and promoting a safe learning environment. His practice in the field of education and nonprofit field has yielded a proven track record for assisting children and families in exceeding expectations of academic achievement and a commitment to student-centered learning. Mr. Maxey believes in the village concept for educating children as demonstrated by increasing business partnerships to improve community relationships.
Currently lives in Florida as a proud father of his son Linden and two (boxer)/dogs - Laila Claressa & Champ Apollo. Enjoys traveling, living in his faith and spending time with family.
Professionally , Corey is a Vice President; Market Leader (nmls 8199) - managing community lending for the states of Florida and Tennessee at Bank of America.
