"I remember meeting Kenny “Koldhouse” Givens our freshman year at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Being from Michigan, I recall our Southern peers referring to us as “those Northern Boys”! Little did I know that chance meeting listening to my recordings of WBMX, would start a friendship and Brotherhood that would last over 40 years. We pledged Kappa Alpha Psi and Kenny was our HNIC for a line of 18 Brothers! My brother was quick witted, tough and empathetic! I will miss our talks which always left me feeling encouraged. I won’t comment on the escapades of our youth, suffice to say, “ A Good Time Was Had By All”! Rest In Heaven my brother my friend. See you in the Chapter Invisible!"
