Brother Shaun Nelson

A Spring 1999 initiate of the Alabama A&M University Chapter, the Gamma Phi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Shaun L. Nelson is a Spring 1999 initiate of the Alabama A&M University Chapter, the Gamma Phi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. During his undergraduate time, Brother Nelson held the position of Polemarch for the fall academic year of 1999 to the Spring of 2000. Brother Nelson was also a member of the Pan-Hellenic Council as a representative for the Gamma Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. Brother Nelson graduated from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Professionally, Brother Nelson has worked nearly two decades in the Financial Services Industry, holding positions ranging from Bank Branch Manager to Operations Leader. Currently, Brother Nelson is the Marketing Manager of Field Engagement for Financial Institution Division of Ameriprise Financial Services. Brother Nelson has won such awards with Ameriprise Financials Services as the Chairman’s Award (2017), Impact Award (2019) and been nominated for the Outstanding Leaders Award (2022)

Brother Nelson is also active in his community. He is a past Board of Director President of Family Promise of Jacksonville. Currently he is a board member that works to carry out the mission of Family Promise of Jacksonville and take families from homelessness to housing. Brother Nelson is married to former Erikka Flanagan (St. Louis, MO) and they have two daughters, Jada (Bethune Cookman) and Skye (8th grade).

Brother Andre Berry

A Spring 1982 initiate of the Temple University Chapter, the Delta Eta of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Brother Berry is a Spring 1982 initiate of the Temple University Chapter, the Delta Eta of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and holds a BS in Organic Chemistry from St. Joseph's University and a Master's in Business Management from Insead (France).

Brother Berry is currently the General Manager, Crop Nutrition & Global Industrial Mining for Arkema. In his spare time, Brother Berry enjoys diving and a good bottle of scotch.

Brother Berry is the husband to Angela and father to Jacob and Clarke.

Brother Kevin Briscoe

A Fall 1980 initiate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County colony (Towson University), the Theta Chi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Kevin M. Briscoe is a Fall 1980 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., by way of the Theta Chi Chapter (University of Maryland Baltimore County) colony that included Towson University (his alma mater) and Frostburg University. Once the Kappa members at Towson obtained the requisite number of brothers, they chartered the Lambda Zeta Chapter in February 1982. Brother Briscoe graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in political science in 1983.

Professionally, Brother Briscoe has more than 30 years' experience in public and media relations, marketing and journalism. He's written and/or edited four books on corporate diversity, been a regular contributor to various newspapers and publications, including Time, Newsweek and Black Enterprise, and consulted with numerous government agencies and small- and mid-sized business on PR, DEI and marketing projects.

Currently, he is a communications strategist with JEA.

In the community, Brother Briscoe is a Class of 2023 Leadership St. Johns graduate, a board member for the St. Johns Cultural Council, and a member of the Jacksonville Jazz Society. Brother Briscoe lives in St. Johns, Fla., with his wife, Corde' and their dog, Max.

Brother Kristopher Mumford

A Spring 2003 initiate of the Florida A&M University Chapter, the Alpha Xi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Kristopher Mumford is a Spring 2003 initiate of the Florida A&M University Chapter, the Alpha Xi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is a life member of the Fraternity and the Southern Province.

Since his initiation Brother Mumford held several positions which include Lieutenant Strategus, Strategus, Guide Right Chairman and Chapter Advisory Board of the Delta Psi Chapter at Edward Waters University.

Professionally Brother Mumford worked twenty years in Healthcare leadership at UF Health Jacksonville within Financial Services, Radiology, and Compliance. Currently he works Global Compliance and Operational Risk in the financial industry.

Brother William G Wilson (aka Spoonie G) is a Spring 1981 initiate of the North Carolina A&T University Chapter, the Alpha Nu of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and has been a Life Member of the Noble Klan since 1993.
Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and a graduate of Enloe High School where he earned All-Conference Basketball Honors. Brother Wilson matriculated from UNC Greensboro in 1982 with a degree in Broadcasting/Cinema. Today, Brother Wilson is a Life Insurance Sales Agent.

Brother Wilson married his silhouette, Naomi in 1988 and is a father to Kristina and Kristian.

Brother Dominique Keys, Charter Member

A Spring 2011 initiate of the Nashville (TN) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Brother Dominique Keys is a Spring 2011 initiate of the Nashville (TN) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and is currently a fifth-year doctoral student at the University of North Florida.

Brother Keys is currently serving his second year as School Leader at KIPP Impact Academy, a public charter serving youth in Northwest Jacksonville. Before this role, he was the assistant school leader for 5 years, he worked as a 7/8th grade science teacher, grade level chair, and content lead.

A native of Washington, D.C., he obtained his bachelor’s and master's degrees from Tennessee State University. Brother Keys is passionate about urban education, successful principal leadership practices; his current research interests include educational leadership, teacher development, quality instruction, and student achievement and its impacts on marginalized and urban youth. During his free time, Brother Keys enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Brother Marc Hicks

A Spring 1994 initiate of the Hampton University Chapter, the Beta Chi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Brother Hicks was initiated at the Hampton University Chapter, the Beta Chi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and is a Lifetime Member of the Fraternity. During his journey in the Bond, he has served as the Exchequer of Homecoming activities for Beta Chi Nupes and Hampton University Kappas for the last decade. He assisted in founding a Non-Profit organization (KapEx Inc.) with Beta Chi Nupes to provide scholarships to Hampton Students in need of financial support, and sits on the Board of Directors for KapEx, Inc.

As a Charter Member of the St. Augustine Alumni Association, he serves as the Keeper of Exchequer. In his professional life, Brother Hicks is an Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase overseeing Title and Support services for Chase Home Lending. Over the course of his 24 year tenure in the mortgage industry, he has worked for other leading lenders such as Goldman Sachs, PHH Mortgage, and Pulte Home Lending.

Brother Casey Williams

A Spring 1997 Initiate of the Florida A&M University Chapter, the Alpha Xi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Brother Williams is a Spring 1997 Initiate of the Florida A&M University Chapter, the Alpha Xi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the FAMU/FSU College of Engineering. He also received a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University's Davis College of Business.

Brother Williams is an IT professional and is currently a Senior Manager with Florida Blue and responsible for project execution within the Sales Enablement organization. Brother Williams is the former Technology Committee Chairman for the Southern Province and has remained an integral part of the committee for the last decade. Today, Brother Williams is the acting Assistant Keeper of Exchequer, MTA Chairman and Technology/Social Committee Chairman for the St Augustine (FL) Alumni Chapter.

Brother Williams is child of God and husband to Kelly, father to Casey II (the Purdue University Chapter, the Nu of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc) and Kennedy. In his spare time, Brother Williams is a published wedding and portrait photographer, but ultimately enjoys traveling with family and friends.

Brother Darren Barton

Brother Darren Barton is a Spring 1989 initiate of the Marquette University Chapter, the Delta Kappa of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Brother Barton originally hails from the Great Lakes part of the midwest and has served in various capacities since joining the fraternity. Brother Barton's posts have included past Polemarch and Keeper of Records. Brother Barton is currently the Keeper of Exchequer for the St. Augustine Alumni Association.

Brother Barton's interests include history, science fiction, guitar and biking.

Brother Ricky Weylin Berry Jr. and I'm from Albany,GA. I graduated from Westover Comprehensive High School class of 1998 in Albany, GA and attended Albany State University from 1999-2002. In the summer 2002 I transferred to Valdosta State University majoring in Computer Information Systems. In the spring of 2003 pledged the Lambda Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I was the 9 Klub on my line "Koming AttraKtion". After my student days were done I moved to Jacksonville, FL for a job opportunity at Merrill Lynch. I currently work there as a Resource Support Specialist. I have a fiancé with an amazing son. I love working in the community which is one of my hobbies as well as watching sports, automobiles, computers, exercising, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Brother Jon Singletary

Jon D. Singletary is a distinguished professional and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., at both the International Headquarters (IHQ) and Province levels. He was a Fall 2008 initiate of the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Jon earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Stetson University and later pursued an MBA at the University of Florida. His commitment to excellence and leadership was evident early in his fraternity journey, where he served as Assistant Keeper of Records and worked closely with Membership Training Academy (MTA) initiatives.

Professionally, Jon has a diverse background in finance and healthcare. He has held financial advisory roles at prominent institutions such as Merrill Lynch, E*Trade, TD Ameritrade, and BB&T, where he provided expert guidance to clients on achieving their financial goals. In addition, his experience as a loan officer at PHH, SLS, and JP Morgan Chase further highlights his financial acumen.

Currently, Jon works in the healthcare sector with a focus on minimally invasive surgery, contributing to advancements that enhance patient outcomes and surgical efficiencies. His career reflects a dedication to excellence, adaptability, and a passion for making a positive impact in both his professional and fraternity endeavors.

Jon resides in Jacksonville, FL as a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, demonstrating the fraternity's core values of achievement in every field of human endeavor.
